# How to stake VRX

In this guide, you will learn how to stake VRX using the StakeVRX dapp. For this guide, you will need to already have VRX and a comptaible wallet, such as MetaMask.

* To earn 18% APY on your VRX, first navigate to <https://stakevrx.com>
* Click or tap on the **CONNECT WALLET** button to connect your wallet

* Next, MetaMask will ask for your permission to connect to the StakeVRX dapp.&#x20;
* Select which account you would like to use with StakeVRX, then click on the blue "Next" button&#x20;

* Next, MetaMask wants your permission to connect to StakeVRX with your selected account.
* Click on the blue "Connect" button to connect to StakeVRX

* You should now be on the main screen for the StakeVRX dapp.

* To stake VRX, enter the amount you want to stake in the field next to the "STAKE" button.
  * If you want to stake the "MAX" amount in your wallet, press the "MAX" button.
* After entering the amount of VRX you want to stake, press the "STAKE" button
  * You will have to confirm the transaction in MetaMask
* When you have successfully staked your VRX, your balance and amount staked will be reflected on the screen.

* To unstake your funds, enter the amount you want to unstake in the field next to the "UNSTAKE" button
  * If you want to unstake the full balance, press the "MAX" button
* After entering the amount of VRX you want to unstake, press the "UNSTAKE" button
  * You will have to confirm the transaction in MetaMask

* Rewards are claimed automatically when unstaking.
* To manually claim rewards, press the "CLAIM" button.
* Your balances will be updated in real-time on the screen
  * Your Wallet Address
  * Staking Contract Address
  * Your Balance
  * Staked
  * Total Earned
  * Pending
